Health and Safety

At B.I.T., we know that health and safety is a top priority with our customers – maybe even more important than getting the lowest price. When it comes to project safety, B.I.T. is proud to be an industry leader. This leadership role is never more evident than in our exemplary CAD 7 safety record. We believe that an extension of our commitment to quality work and on-time completion, is our commitment to safety on the job. We want to leave a job site with our client having taken notice of our safe work practices and documentation.

B.I.T. has a comprehensive Corporate Health & Safety Policies Program that is compliant with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, as well as Regulations for both Construction and Industrial Establishments and the W.S.I.B.

As members of Ontario’s renowned Regional Construction Safety Group, B.I.T. continuously seeks to improve worker and site safety through the implementation of new and improved corporate safety procedures.

Ongoing training and acknowledgment of safe work practices are perpetual at B.I.T. For further information, please contact our Corporate Health and Safety Coordinator, Kevin Hewett, at kh@bitmillwrighting.com.
