President’s Message

On behalf of B.I.T Millwrighting Inc., I would like to welcome our existing customers, prospective customers, and the industrial community to B.I.T. online.

For those of you who are new to B.I.T., allow me to introduce this dynamic and innovative industrial services company. We have been providing multi-trade services to Canada’s industrial market sectors since 2000. Our objective both then and now has been to bring to the industrial market a fresh, new, alternative service provider with differentiating features and benefits that were of true value and worth to our customers. Today, based on our current customer base, our rate of repeat business, and our continued growth success, we take great pride in stating that industry has welcomed B.I.T., and embraced its value-added services and vibrant corporate culture.

For those of you who have hired contractors for maintenance and projects, you are well aware of the importance and the value that quality leadership brings to your project. At B.I.T., leadership, project management, and key foremen experience are a few of our most prominent features. As experienced tradespeople, and now business owners, my three partners and I focus our efforts where we believe our customers and crews need us most – project management and field leadership. This is the kind of intensity that is unique to B.I.T., and which benefits our many customers. Add to this, our diligent tradespeople with their unfailing attention to safety, and you have the qualities that our customers compliment B.I.T. on time and time again.

In today’s competitive contracting business environment, quality, the ability to be competitive, and the ability to complete projects on schedule and in a safe manner are not only expected, they are often the norm. Where B.I.T. excels beyond this, is in the fact that every level of worker, manager, and owner within B.I.T. believes, with conviction, that we must offer more than what is expected. We must deliver the intangibles that benefit our customers. Only in this way can we meet our customers' needs and ensure our own future. These intangibles are never seen in bid submissions, nor are they specified. But, at B.I.T., we are committed to these intangibles, including: genuine business relationships, the give and take process, initiative, contingency planning, delivering on our promises, and honesty.

Safety is also an area on which we never compromise. That commitment truly comes from the top down at B.I.T. As mentioned earlier, my partners and I all come from the trades, and know from experience the risks in the job, and appreciate supervisors that recognize safety as the number one priority. We set and closely monitor our corporate safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment with a “ZERO” tolerance objective.
