Is there anything I can do to speed up
..the healing process?

Here is another one of those instances where mothers know best. To speed up the healing process, you need proper rest, exercise, and good nutrition.

There are no shortcuts to speed up your body's natural healing process -- but you can do a lot to ensure that you give yourself the best chance of a quick and full recovery:

1) Learn the proper sitting and lifting methods

2) Perform specific exercises that your Chiropractor will give you, to help retrain the muscles that support your spine

3) Get the proper amount of rest you need on a daily basis

4) Change your diet to ensure your body gets the proper nutrition it needs to keep its systems functioning properly

5) Avoid sleeping on your stomach

And most of all, make sure you don't miss your Chiropractic appointments and don't ignore the Doctor's recommendations thinking the adjustment alone will help heal your injuries.
