In the corrective stage of treatment, the original pain will be the first to go, as it was the last thing to show up. Yet, the underlying problem still exists. The CAUSE of the problems still need to be addressed and corrected. Then and only then will there be truly beneficial results.
When the correction begins, your body can begin to reverse the negative changes within the tissues. It takes time and a persistent dedication to a way of life. The only way to correct the problem is to continue working with mobilizing the joints and doing specific stretches for the spine.
Your body needs to be stimulated over time to reverse the changes. This is true because your body can only be affected by a constant stimulus. When that stimulus is removed, your body will return to its previous course of action. It takes steady, ongoing actions to bring changes, whether they be positive or negative, to the body.
One would not expect to be a championship calibre athlete by training once a week. By the same token, you cannot expect to be healthy and have your spine recover from its injuries or damage without some time and effort. Instant results simply are not possible, your body is just not made that way.
Fortunately, even little things done over time will produce positive results, but we have to be vigilant to always ask ourselves, "Am I practicing the right habits to promote good health?"
